Confirm the class early
Applying for: Pre-KG / LKG / UKG / Grade 1 and above
Academic year: 2026–27
Keep a document folder ready (stress saver!)
Most schools ask for a mix of these. Keep originals + photocopies:
- Birth Certificate
- Student Aadhaar (if available) / ID proof
- Previous year report card (Grade 1 and above)
- Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
- Parent ID + address proof
Do a quick campus visit (learning + safety check)
During your visit, look for what your child will use daily: ventilated classrooms, play spaces, labs/library routines, and safety systems. SRCS highlights facilities like smart classrooms, labs, a library, CCTV and fire safety, purified drinking water, and school transport—use the visit to see what fits your child. Ask 5 questions that matter
- How does the school support students who need extra help?
- What does a normal day look like for this grade?
- What sports/clubs are available?
- Transport routes and timings for my area
- Fee schedule + payment dates
